Small-potatoes cable company Insight Cable has signed a deal with the Big Ten Network, and will give their customers what they want....Ohio State football!
Unfortunately for most people, that doesn't help much. Insight has only 65,000 homes it reaches in Ohio and Kentucky. But I won't complain....Bravo to Insight for having the brains to cut a deal! Here's hoping your customer rate improves as a result.
In the same article linked to, "OSU Director of Athletics Gene Smith said the prospect of the Big Ten Network finalizing deals with Time Warner Cable....was unlikely" before either of the first two Big Ten Network games, YSU and Akron.
